“As Rosemary is to the spirit, so Lavender is to the soul.”

~ Unknown

I snipped the last of the lavender a couple of days ago and set a vase on my kitchen windowsill, but not before taking the fragrant bunch down to the woman cave for some photos. The lavender spikes so pretty, the fragrance fresh and simple; it’s a soothing flower.

I spent a solitary and silent day yesterday writing and working on a project. By suppertime, when Gerry arrived home, my neck and shoulder ached and I was depleted, reminiscent of how I felt during the years when I was writing my book.  It was painfully delicious.

Word wrangler. Photo taker. I'm here early every morning with one of my photos and a few simple words. | Nulla dies sine linea: not a day without a line. | Soli Deo gloria: to the glory of God alone.

  1. I know the feeling, especially the neck pain. Lavender is soothing – this image and its fragrance.
