A Woman’s Day

What was your day like? Somewhere a woman somewhere is laughing, weeping, grieving, or celebrating. Someone is giving birth; someone is losing a loved one to death. Relationships are forming, others are ending.

One day; varied experiences.

I am one of the coordinators of the One Woman’s Day blog where members of the Story Circle Network have been posting about a day in their life since the beginning of this year. We write about family, health, joy and sorrow, all from a woman’s perspective. We live in America, Canada, Yemin; we are young mothers, working women, happy retirees; we are healthy, we are battling health issues; we are funny, we are reflective.

We are women.

If you haven’t visited yet, I invite you to pop over, browse, and leave a comment or two. The amazing women who contribute to the blog would love to hear from you!

But before you go, leave a comment here and tell me what your day was like, won’t you?

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

  1. It’s the first full day of spring today! That makes it a good day in my book!

  2. I’m so glad it’s Spring, but Mother Nature had other ideas here today … snow! We took a walk anyway, umbrellas and all … Happy Spring 🙂

    1. Joanne, at the same time I was reading your comment I was watching the news and seeing the snow in your area! I am glad you managed to get outside and enjoy the day, anyway.

  3. Linda, I’ll check that out! My day was a long day at work, but at least I have a good job!
