Be Still Vignette

I’m so very far behind on the assignments for the Be Still – Fifty Two class but I’m determined to catch up. Today, I had some time to practice and I played around with different things for one of the assignments. This one called for us to shoot a dark and moody vignette and to include a little printable in the background.

Here’s a couple of my favourite shots of the day. The same. But ever-so-slightly different.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

  1. I do enjoy your photography class projects. I think it is the stillness and quiet contrast that is most appealing.

    1. Thank you, Letty. Still, calm, peace, quiet, are all the things I do my best to capture–sometimes better than others.

  2. I love your photography…it makes me feel, peaceful looking at your pictures!

    1. Thanks so much, Karen. That’s exactly the emotion I’m usually going for in most of my photography. 🙂
