Somehow it’s the middle of November.

Fog blankets my piece of the world and it’s beautiful and silent. I sit at the window and watch it do nothing but hover and think it is the wisest of all the things that jostle for my attention.

Soon it will be winter but for now we live in the in-between. Wisdom comes from within the liminal. The trick is to to be still and quiet enough to hear it.

The fog invites us.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
  1. Beautiful words that touched me today

    1. Wishing you a peaceful day, Tammy.

  2. Beautiful post, Linda.

    1. Thank you, Sherrey. I hope you’re having a good day.

  3. This is my favorite season – November, anticipating Thanksgiving. I hate that when I go shopping, Thanksgiving has been pushed aside for Christmas.

I practice stillness in the early morning. Soon I’ll be joining a table-full of chatty women, a slice of life of a different sort. Have a great weekend, Linda!
