Everything put away? Check.
All the lights on? Check.
Music on? Check.
All the toilet lids down? Check.
We grab the dogs, get in the car, and head out so strangers can walk through out home.
We stop for coffee at a very expensive place for mine where I pay with my phone, and a more reasonable place for Gerry’s where he digs around in the container of change he carries with him to get the exact coinage to pay. I ponder the wisdom of his choice.
We field a couple of phone calls from our realtor as we drive, heading nowhere really. We stop at Home Depot to look at generators and decide it makes more sense to wait until we get to Saskatchewan where they’ll be familiar with what one needs to prepare for a prairie winter.
We drive through a new neighbourhood still under construction and park at a viewpoint to drink our coffee, chat, check our phones, and wait until it’s time to head home.
It’s just another day in home-for-sale time.

Hope all goes well. A stressful time.
Thank you, VJ. At the moment, waiting is the hardest part!
Fingers crossed it all goes well
Thank you, VJ!
any day now…. soon…. out of the blue… and all of a sudden… the new owner will be there….
Thanks, Mary Jo. From your mouth to . . . 🙂
