And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.
~ Roald Dahl
Yesterday afternoon I spent some time browsing through photos on my computer (oh how wonderful to have things put back together on the technology front). I came across a few taken at a favourite antique shop a couple of years ago that, at first glance seemed ordinary and uninspiring but, with a little editing magic, came alive in my eyes.
I am reminded of how the days of my life are sometimes like that too: ordinary becoming extraordinary as I look through a lens of blessing and gratitude. This morning, with a few things weighing, I pick up that lens and, wouldn’t you know it, the magic appears.
Leaning hard into Love on this first day of December, anticipating magic and wonder.
