“She loved them so much that she felt a kind of hollowness on the inner surface of her arms whenever she looked at them–an ache of longing to pull them close and hold them tight against her.”

~ Anne Tyler, A Spool of Blue Thread

We are looking forward to a weekend with our grandchildren. For part of the time their parents will not be around. Shenanigans will ensue.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
  1. Let the shenanigans commence ?Have a lovely time Linda

  2. I love Anne Tyler’s insights. The quote is new for me because I’ve not read this book.

Here’s to more shenanigans, sure to cure the blahs you’ve felt lately. 🙂

  3. shenanigans. 🙂
