“Look closely at the present you are constructing: it should look like the future you are dreaming.”

~ Alice Walker

Yesterday I finally did some clean up in my woman cave. Projects everywhere and it gets to the point where my mind is overwhelmed; that’s when I know I need to pause and tidy things up.

This morning it’s cool and breezy outside. It seems meant to be that I spend time in the woman cave playing with my camera and messing things up again.

It’s Friday. Is it the end of the week or the start of the weekend? Sometimes endings and beginnings look a lot alike, don’t they?

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
  1. A wonderful photo!!

  2. Sometimes I can’t tell if your photos are flowers or weeds. And they are all just as beautiful – doesn’t matter what they are. I am at the end of my work week, and took a couple hours off, just ’cause I wanted to. I like starting my weekend early. No big plans this weekend (except homework and study, got lots of that). It’s supposed to be unseasonably hot and humid here…90s. Not typical for early June. Today I am very grateful for air conditioning.
