“No matter what he does, every person on earth plays a central role in the history of the world. And normally he doesn’t know it.”
~ Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
I wake early, first, while it’s still dark, just the way I like it. The morning silence speaks volumes to me and I listen with gratitude.
I consider a photograph, and words to go with it, and ponder the past few days. It feels like Friday; oh wait, it is Friday. How did that happen so quickly?
For a few quiet moments I give my thoughts freedom to wander and they light on people who have touched me this week and made a difference. Fleeting moments of little temporal significance that would have passed by unnoticed but for a deliberate noting of them.
In reliving these moments I find contentment. I am thankful. I am reminded how it is often the smallest moments, the simplest gestures, and the quietest people who make the biggest impact.
I find strength to carry on.

Beautiful. “I am reminded how it is often the smallest moments, the simplest gestures, and the quietest people who make the biggest impact.” Yes.
Thank you for stopping by, Lucinda.
