“The monotony and solitude of a quiet life stimulates the creative mind.”

~ Albert Einstein

Let’s appreciate and nourish our creativity today. Whether it’s our words, our images, or simply the way we are in the world today. Whether we’re sitting in solitude or in a tailspin of busyness, let’s take a moment or more for creativity.

Looking forward to lunch with friends today and harvesting green beans. Simple things.

I’m ruminating on an idea for something different in October. Diptychs every day with unstyled images of Morning | Afternoon, Morning | Afternoon, or Afternoon | Evening images. The spark for the idea came from a prompt we’re working on in the Be Still | One Year Wiser class and the very cool 3191 Miles Apart blog. Check it out!

Happy Friday. Have a creative day.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
