Last week at this time, we were sitting on the back patio commenting on what a beautiful and warm day it was. We’ve enjoyed a stellar autumn so far but change is in the air. They’re forecasting the first snow of the season in Moose Jaw this weekend (wish we were already there) and, here in Kamloops, the foreseeable forecast has dropped to single digits. Nearby ski hills have already received snow and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a first dusting of the white stuff on the hills when it gets light. It’s time to pull out sweaters and socks.
Gerry spent most of yesterday helping a neighbour with a landscaping project leaving me to a delicious day of reading after enjoying coffee with a friend in the morning. I finished the book I mentioned yesterday and started another. I absolutely love days like that and, with the dark season looming, look forward to many more (hopefully in Saskatchewan soon).
We’re beyond ready to get to Moose Jaw. The only thing holding us up is the sale of our home here in Kamloops. Another day of waiting while trying to remain present and not feel like we’re waiting, and another open house this weekend. Come on, buyer!!

Good luck!
Thank you!
