It’s coming

It’s coming.

In the fall I planted a selection of crocus, daffodil, tulip and hyacinth bulbs around my yard and in my pots.  The other day I noticed that in one of the pots a little green sprout is poking out.

I left work yesterday and realized that it wasn’t completely dark.

I noticed that the grocery story was selling potted daffodils and hyacinths.

Gardening magazines are appearing on the newsstands.

Spring. It’s just around the corner! Hope springs eternal!

I’m a writer, reader, photographer, and gardener. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things.

  1. Oh I hope!! We still have snow lingering on the ground here and even though I love a good winter is seems I love the coming of Spring just as well:)

  2. it is coming…..I can't wait..

  3. Spring arrives early here in Arizona, but I can't help but recall the beauty of the Pacific NW when daffodils & tulips filled the valleys from the far north in Skagit County all the way through the south of Pierce County.

Spring is a forever affirmation of hope.

    Blessings,
    Kathleen

  5. Isn't it exciting. Maybe I am trying to hurry my life along, but "Hurry Spring, hurry."
