It’s Go Time

It’s 5:30 am. I’m sitting up in bed, surrounded by Yorkies, enjoying a cup of Tazo Chai in a used Starbucks cup. Creativity is the name of the game when everything is packed and boxes are sealed.

Gerry’s beside me catching up on the morning news on his iPad. Very soon, we’ll get moving but these first few minutes of what promises to be a busy day are a sweet gift worth savouring a little while longer.

The movers will arrive shortly after 8 and organized chaos of loading the truck will begin. It’s go time. Time to leave this home and head for my hearts home in Saskatchewan.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
  1. I don’t envy you now, but I believe things will go well this week. Besides, you’ll probably get “situated” before Christmas, a happy thought.

  2. Safe travels on your journey to your new home!
