Time goes by in the twinkling of an eye.
My sweet granddaughter is three years old today!
Happy Birthday, Makiya Rose!
Grandma loves you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!
I’m over at One Woman’s Day today remembering that magical day when she was born.
My daughter has a special post on her blog, Seasons of Life, today too.

It’s been a long time since I’ve heard that “bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck” phrase. Some music is going on in my mind, too… and she is indeed adorable!
Nice to hear that you know that little song, DJan!
Sweetest picture! My cuties are growing up fast, too!

Doris Day’s version of that song was on the radio a lot when I was young. Just looked it up…never knew it came from “Guys and Dolls.” Hugs to you and your beautiful look-alike birthday girl!
What a beautiful granddaughter you have! My two granddaughters are six and four and growing up way too fast. There’s not much in life better than having grandchildren.
