It’s Monday, the start of Christmas week, and the cold has broken. Much to be delighted about today.

Rumour has it there may be shortbread made around here today. Something else to be delighted–and restrained–about.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

  1. I’m glad it’s a little warmer your way….Sure wish I lived close by so I could visit for some shortbread….

    1. I wish you could too, Nanci. I think we’d have much to chat about.

  2. It’s warmed up a bit here, too, and today the wind is blowing like crazy. My least favorite weather. A bit of shortbread would cozy things up here!

    1. We’ve had wind here too. I don’t like it either and Maya especially doesn’t like it. Happy Christmas week, Karen. Hope you’re having a restful and magical week.
