“Don’t underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can’t hear, and not bothering.”

~ Pooh’s Little Instruction Book, inspired by A.A. Milne

It’s Boxing Day, one of my favourite days of the year. No pressure to do anything, a fridge full of leftovers, new books to read, and a day that’s cold enough outside that one can simply snuggle indoors under a quilt.

Today I may put away the tree and the few decorations we have. Or I may just read and play with my new camera lens. Either way it will be a lovely day–as Boxing Day always is.

Wishing you a wonderful day!

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
