“The soul is healed by being with children.”

~ Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Waking early after a long day and late night. Little feet tiptoe into my room. Early morning snuggles, quiet conversations, we ease into the day.

She helps me with my post of the day. The image makes her think of cotton candy. Sweet–like she is.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

  2. After two bereavements, I can attest to the healing qualities of grandchildren and the two-year-olds I’m with in the nursery.
