“How often have I lain beneath rain on a strange roof, thinking of home.”

~ William Faulkner

We arrived home late yesterday afternoon, to rain and melting snow. It’s fun to go away now and then but I always love coming home; I’m an unapologetic homebody through and through.

Today, getting back on track with garden planning and other activities. I’m cautiously optimistic that what seemed like a never-ending winter is behind us; the weather forecast seems to concur.

New day, new week of possibility, spring finally springing; let’s do this!

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
