“It takes a long time to become young.”

~Pablo Picasso

It’s Monday and we’re heading into a celebratory week starting with my young-at-heart hubby’s birthday today. He has a kind and generous heart, is committed to his faith, is more than a little bit mischievous, and is always up for an adventure. And he keeps me laughing! I’m so thankful I get to share my life with this man.

Happy Birthday, Gerry.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
  1. You have a keeper here (as I do)! Happy Birthday to your young-at-heart Gerry!

    1. We are indeed blessed!

  2. He and I almost got to share the same birthday. I hope his ‘week of celebration’ is all he could hope for and more. We are blessed with our hubs. I can see that twinkle in his eye…..

  3. Happy belated birthday to your hubby. And these words from Picasso… writing them down to remind myself.

  4. You know what I see when I look at him? That’s a nice guy. He has a kind face. Blessings to you both.

    1. He is a very nice, and kind, guy, Karen.
