“We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.”

~ Joseph Campbell

Letting go of the week that we planned and leaning in to the one that is waiting for us this morning.

It’s starting to feel like autumn and there for flowers to pull out and beds to tidy up. There are also apples to buy, pies to bake, and soups to simmer.

There are also walks in the park to be enjoyed and photos to be captured. There is life to be lived.

All is still very well, indeed.

Simple happy.

Hugs from Daughter and Granddaughter yesterday.

Soup in the slow cooker.

The Great British Baking Show on PBS.

The slightest titch of rain.

Medical marvels.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
  1. Beautiful – thank you Linda!

  2. I love to watch the Great British Baking Show as well…but I don’t like to bake!

  3. Sorry you have to cancel your trip, praying for you both much love and hugs ?

  4. Sometimes we find that circumstances force us to alter our course. The quote you included with this post speaks to acceptance of that over which we have no control. Take care dear one.
