“Quiet people have the loudest minds.”
~ Stephen King

Last week was . . . a week. One of those weeks.

So good to know that there’s always an opportunity for a fresh start.

Begin again. And again.

In other news, yesterday was my son’s 36th birthday. He has gifted me with much joy and laughter over the years. He has a kind heart, a goofy sense of humour, and more than a touch of mischief. He has a strong work ethic and is focused on achieving his goals. I’m proud of the man he’s become.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
  1. Happy Birthday to your son! Wishing you a good week ahead. . .

    1. And I wish the same for you, Karen. Received your card yesterday. Thanks so much!

  2. My son is 36 too. And I know exactly how you feel. I am so proud of my boy – 17 years in the military. Successful marriage. Two good boys. 🙂
