Now It Is Winter

Winter arrives and, with it, the shortest day of the year—starting tomorrow, it’s downhill toward gardening season. And still, no snow.

Butter tarts, a  sweet Canadian treat, are happening here today and probably not much else. Winter arrives, waiting continues. Words are few.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I'm here most mornings with a photo and a few words about ordinary extraordinary things and, sometimes, thin places where faith intersects.

  1. No snow here either – a full moon and rain!
I am happy it is winter: my favorite season!

    1. I’ve come to appreciate this dark and (usually) cool season, too. Might as well, it’s going to come every year!
