Now It Is Winter

Winter arrives and, with it, the shortest day of the year—starting tomorrow, it’s downhill toward gardening season. And still, no snow.

Butter tarts, a  sweet Canadian treat, are happening here today and probably not much else. Winter arrives, waiting continues. Words are few.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things.

    I am happy it is winter: my favorite season!

    1. I’ve come to appreciate this dark and (usually) cool season, too. Might as well, it’s going to come every year!
