Oh Canada

Canada is celebrating her 152nd birthday today. Save for seven years, she has been my home and native land. I’ve always been proud to call myself Canadian.

We’re honoured to fly our flag today. We’ll skip the crowds in the park though. Chances are good we’ll miss the fireworks display tonight too.

Summer has returned today and we have books and a patio and a garden from which to harvest a supper salad. It’s a good time for a mid-year review taking stock of personal goals.

A quiet celebratory day: the best of the best.

Happy Birthday, Canada.
