Last week’s prompt for the Be Still – Fifty Two class was Organic. I found all manner of inspiration for this prompt at the garden this morning.

First order of business–for the class and for the garden–was to check out the peas! I picked the first pods of the season and, later at home, delved into the part of the lesson that involved creating a diptych of two like images.

We’ve been eating the Tom Thumb lettuce for weeks now. Just a few heads left from this sowing; more to come!

All in all it was a good morning with time spent in the garden and another lesson crossed of the catch-up list. Now I’m off to enjoy the sunshine as it promises to be another warm summer-like day!

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
