Progress in Canada

On April 30, 2010 the Child and Family Services Act becomes law in the Yukon Territory in Canada.  Adopted adults (19+) and birth parents may apply for a copy of the original birth registration, the amended birth registration, and the Adoption Order.  This is exciting news and one step closer to providing adoptees in the Yukon Territory with basic information that is available to those who are not adopted.

It’s just the right thing to do.
