I think my voice sounds so Canadian on these videos! Oh wait – I am Canadian – no wonder!
Here is some video I took when we were at Manderley last week. It was so peaceful despite the wind you can hear at times. And even though I refer to it as “our property” in the first video it’s not ours just yet.

Wow… you may be Canadian, but you used the word "honkin" to describe your clothesline, which makes us kindred spirits! I love "honkin" and a good clothesline. In addition, I could see myself writing a lot of "words" in that peaceful setting. I felt like I was watching an episode of HGTV's House Hunters International. As we are preparing our hearts for a move, I'm always interested in what makes other people "tick" along these lines.

Manderley is beautiful, so quiet and calm. And I love to hear Canadian. One of the women in my writing group is from Canada, and when she reads, it's like music. Different from the everyday Texan.
