Roundtables and Inspiration

I like to download audio teleseminars from National Association of Memoir Writers to listen to on my iPod during my commute to and from work. Recently, I’ve gotten behind and as a result I was just today listening to the December roundtable talk with Mary DeMuth. Mary is a prolific writer and she shared a wealth of information with listeners including 10 ways to know if you’re called to write.

I was enjoying the talk so much I was disappointed when I got home and had to stop listening so I decided to check out Mary’s website (She must have a website! Eveyone has a website! I told myself as I ran upstairs to turn on my computer.)

There is a plethora of writerly and non-writerly information on Mary’s site including….da da da dum….a post called 30 Compelling and Creative Blog Post Ideas. I love some of those ideas and I suspect one or two may show up here in the days to come!  Let’s see…ten things people don’t know about me, ask my spouse to write a post (yikes!), embarass yourself….the possibilities are endless!

I’m inspired. Stay tuned. Check out Mary’s blog too!

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things.
