“She asked me what made me do such a thing. That is an awkward question because I often can’t tell what makes me do things. Sometimes I do them just to find out what I feel like doing them. And sometimes I do them because I want to have some exciting things to tell my grandchildren.”

~ L.M. Montgomery

Delighting in time with my granddaughter. No picture taking going on . . . we’re busy making memories.

Just now, its quiet. Any moment now I’ll hear her feet come around the corner and she’ll sleepily come into my bedroom and crawl into bed with us. There will be no more quiet for the rest of the day.

Plenty of time for photography later.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
