“I think insomnia is a sign that a person is interesting.”
~ Avery Sawyer, Notes to Self
I must be a very interesting person this week. I suppose, looking on the bright side, that it’s been delightful to snag all these extra reading hours. Last night, again, I was awake before 3am. knowing sleep wasn’t going to return anytime soon.
Gerry woke a short while later and, returning from the kitchen where he had a glass of water, posed a question. “Linda, it’s only three o’clock. Are you going back to sleep?”
Growl. My silent response: Well, that’s a million dollar question I have no answer for, isn’t it?
This sleep issue may be making me a tiny bit cranky.

The last few pictures you’ve posted — the eggs, the pink flower, and now these purple flowers — have been extra exquisite. I wish I could read when I have insomnia. I’m usually too foggy.
Karen, thanks so much for your kind words.
Linda…your photos are gorgeous! I just subscribed to your blog and am so excited to see your next inspiration…And you’re Canadian too!
Thanks for stopping by, Kathy! We Canadians must stick together!
P.S. Your photos are lovely too.
I woke this morning with a start, and a great idea for a blog. At 3:15 a.m. And I’ve not blogged in months, I’ve been so busy with “stuff” that’s happening in the U.S. Been researching that idea since. I’ll need a nap for sure.
Looking forward to reading it, Karen.
