Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.
Saturday morning cartoons are on my mind when I wake far too late after a restless and uncomfortable night. Saturday morning cartoons, a bowl of soft and soggy Shreddies, and flannel pajamas. Funny where your mind lands.
I find a comment here from a man named Andrew who is visiting from the Five Minute Friday linkup. I pop over to visit his blog and see what he has to say and I am left breathless. I’m leaving a link to his post here ( https://blessed-are-the-pure-of-heart.blogspot.com/2018/09/your-dying-spouse-518-my-position-is.html ) so you can read too.
It’s the first day of autumn. It’s time to embrace the change of seasons if we haven’t already; time to be grateful for the gift of greeting another fall.
I might harvest beets today. Or I might not. Harvesting means subsequent canning and I’m not so much in a canning mood right now. (Strange, yes?)
What’s in store for your Saturday? Cartoons? Shreddies? Something else?
