Snow Day

We wake to the first snow of the season and reports of tangled traffic. It happens to be a morning when we have an early appointment in town. No matter. We’re Canadian, we expect this.

I’m quietly giddy at the snow, the dark, and the start of hygee season. Let nesting commence with blankets, reading socks, PJs in the afternoon, books, and Hallmark movies.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

  1. Snow day here too and couldn’t be happier

    1. Yay for snow!! (In about three months I’ll be singing a different song but for now. . . Hooray!)

  2. No snow here. I’m Floridian. But temps require sweaters, which makes me feeling hygge-like. At the risk of “spamming” you, here’s a link from a post you must have read. You know the feeling! https://marianbeaman.com/2017/11/29/do-you-know-how-to-hygge/

Hope you are feeling better, Linda!

  3. 1st Snow in Ohio too! Brrrrr….!!!!!
