Summertime, and the living is easy.
As I mentioned in my last post we are visiting my daughter, her husband, and our sweet little granddaughter this week. We are having a blast!
We have gone to a water park and a farmer’s market. And yesterday we went to a petting zoo. Makiya has been talking about going to the petting zoo ever since Easter whe she saw some goats and bunnies in the mall.
Today we will be celebrating Canada Day. I am not sure exactly how we will be spending the day, but whatever we do I know we will have a fun time.
There will be lots of things waiting for me next week when we return home so I am enjoying this time of unplugging.
. I’ll be back to work on Wednesday; that means catch-up.
. I received some material this week that I will be reviewing and editing for a course on Search and Reunion.
. I will be participating in the second round of judging for a life writing competition.
. I will be receiving the first feedback from my editor on my manuscript. That means I will be heading into revisions.
But this week, it is all about family.

Life is full and sweet. Makiya — what gorgeous hair! And I love the picture of her with her granddad.
Oh so precious moments and granddaughter! I will be traveling to see my son and DIL and sweet gd this month! Can’t wait!
Family is everything, and that is one adorable little girl. Enjoy!
My goodness Linda she is gorgeous! And what light sparkles through her. I’m glad you’re enjoying your family and look forward to hearing what your editor says. You are making good progress, onward!
