“The world calls them its singers and poets and artists and storytellers; but they are just people who have never forgotten the way to fairyland.”

~ L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

Or, seen another way, people who have returned to fairyland after having endured a long and arduous journey. That’s what retirement is like.

Now that we have the new down duvet, duvet cover, sheets, and contrasting pillows I’m tweaking the look in our master bedroom. Yesterday I played with some ideas for wall art. I’m considering this one as a canvas.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
  1. Hi Linda, What a talented photographer you are. It’s always fun to purchase new bedding and choose new accents. You’ll have to share the final choice with us. Have a lovely Sunday.

    1. Mildred, thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed a wonderful blessed Sunday. As I write this it’s early–so early!–on Monday morning. Here’s to a grand week for both of us!

  2. hi! Thank you for your kind comments about my beloved dad on my blog (Gold in the Clouds) I LOVE all of your flower pictures!!

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by, Faith. I’ve added your blog to my reader and look forward to visiting regularly.

  3. The canvas is restful. It hits ust the right note for a bedroom. My guest bedroom uses these colors: The sea coral room, I call it.
