Is there anything more loyal than the sun?
Mary Oliver
It’s gray—snow and rain, rain and snow. The lack of sunshine is beginning to wear.
I head to my photo archive and grab something with colour and sunshine and remember that day and days like it and my spirits are brightened.
A couple of days ago I had a yen to look through an old album of photos we took on our trip to Great Britain but we couldn’t find it. That’s the problem with moving. We’ll rummage around this afternoon and, hopefully, locate it.
Might as well; the forecast is for another gray and snowy day.

Absolutely love the spirally colors of the photo. We, too, are struggling with gray days, but overall the sun shines most often.
Thank you, Letty. I hope there’s sunny days in store for both of us soon.
The sun is loyal even when it’s behind the clouds. Yesterday, rain. Today the sun emerged. How like life!
Yes, Marian! You’re right, of course! It’s easy to forget this sometimes. Today, snow here. Lots and lots of snow. Hoping for sunshine later in the week. Hope yours is a good one.
