One of the best gifts of spring is spinach and are feasting on spinach salad from the garden almost daily right now. It tastes so sweet after a winter without fresh greens. Eating in season, in addition to providing nutritional benefits, gives us a new appreciation for our food as we anticipate and enjoy the flavours of each season. Spring eating is the sweetest of all.
