“Sunday is the golden clasp that binds together the volume of the week.”

Honestly, it wasn’t a stellar week for me. Still, there were moments of joy and much to be thankful for.

Speaking of being thankful, we’re gearing up for Thanksgiving next weekend. I’m pondering the menu, making a shopping list, and looking forward to faces I love at the table. Nothing spectacular, not a lot of fuss, no decorations, just simple turkey dinner.

Today, church this morning and an afternoon with no specific plans.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.
