The Friday Adventures of Mrs. Potato Head

It was bound to happen: the Mrs. Potato Head (I’ve started calling her Ida) my daughter bought me for Christmas would become my mascot.

Ida is venturing out from her usual place on the corner of my desk to join me on my Friday activities.

We have a batch of books to mail to Story Circle book reviewers.

Of course we are updating my blog.

And here she is in front of my Story Circle bag, all packed with writing paraphanalia and ready to head out to the library.  (Maya is still getting to know her.)

I hope your Friday is filled with whatever you want it to be filled with!

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

  1. Fun blog. Mrs. Potato Head looks like she has more fancy duds than when I last played with her.

  4. Ida is quite lovely. I think Maya is being really brave though.

  6. LOL My husband says I am like that potato head that loses her mouth and frowns on that commercial.
