“Never fear shadows. They simply mean there’s a light shining somewhere nearby.”

~ Ruth E. Renkel

Tough day yesterday, rough night, and a tentative morning.

Feeling like I’m under shadows as I deal with a flare up of a chronic condition.

Thankful for the Light.

I would like to lay low but there are vegetables that need to be frozen or canned.

I’ll do what I can which is likely not as much as I would like.

C’est la vie.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

  1. I think about the light behind the shadow when I read Psalm 23. May you have more light-ness of body today and clearer skies very soon, Linda.

  2. So sorry you are under the weather! You are a trouper to keep on keeping on!

  3. This is a lovely quote….and reminds me of looking for the silver lining. And what sort of squash (?) is this, acorn? I don’t eat a lot of squash. Sometimes I find what I think is a good recipe, and try squash again, and they, meh. Any favorite recipes? I’m sorry you’re under the weather – feel better soon!
