“It’s difficult to think anything but pleasant thoughts while eating a homegrown tomato.

Aren’t these heirloom Black Krims lovely? They’re oh-so-delicious too! I’m back into the canning kitchen today after a quick trip to the garden to do another harvest.
Hope your day is a great one!

(Don’t forget every comment on the blog in August enters your name into the drawing for either a copy of the beautiful Bella Grace magazine or my book Two Hearts: An Adoptee’s Journey Through Grief to Gratitude.)

Absolutely gorgeous photo!!!
I’m really enjoying your blog. I’m so glad Karen mentioned it last week.
Thanks so much, Patti! I’m happy you’re enjoying these posts.
Thinking of you happy in the kitchen all day, then tired and happier at the end of the day. Enjoy, Linda!
Thank you, Mary Jo. Tired and fulfilled sums it up for sure!
I can tell by your posts that you really enjoy the processing and being able to get those shelves filled. It’s so rewarding. I hope you get a few minutes here and there to put your feet up too.
I do enjoy the process of canning food and seeing the shelves fill. I find canning to be a calming and meditative process–so much time to think while working.
Wow, I like the tones in this picture and the texture in the handle of the bucket. Just beautiful, Linda.
Thanks so much, Karen!
