“Is there anything more loyal than the sun?”

~Mary Oliver

I captured this image a few days ago when the sun surprised me. It’s not likely we’ll see the sun today so it’s a nice reminder of what was and what will be again.

This morning it’s foggy and, it’s hard to tell in the dark, but it looks like there’s a dusting of snow on the ground. Gerry is off at men’s meeting I’m enjoying coffee in bed after a restless, and painful, night. Getting older isn’t for sissies.

Today, work in the laundry room will resume as Gerry continues the work of tiling the floor. I’m thankful for all he does for us. Not sure what will capture my fancy today. Not much light for taking photos so maybe a good opportunity to tend to some administrative stuff I’ve been putting off.

Or not. We’ll see.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things.
