Time Out

Gerry and I have been on vacation for the past eight days. We traveled back to Canada at the beginning of our time off to spend some time with kids and one special granddaughter. Good company, good weather, and great food: my son is an awesome cook and feeds us well when we visit. On our last day there we all enjoyed a few hours at Canum lake and, as luck would have it no one else came by until we were getting ready to leave, so we had the beach to ourselves.

We journeyed back home via Vernon, BC where we overnighted and enjoyed visiting with Gerry’s parents, then we continued through the Okanagan valley where the temperature was gloriously hot! We poked around a retirement community in Oliver, BC which profess to be the Wine Capital of Canada and has street names like Chardonnay and Cabernet.

I spent the first day back home in the kitchen canning cherries and apricots we picked up at a fruit stand and since then we’ve spent our time in training for retirement with no real agenda, just time to do with as we wish. It’s been paradise!

We visited a couple of car dealers–not my favorite thing to do but we are planning to purchase a new (to us) vehicle before we officially retire so it’s a must-do activity at this point. Gerry had time to go golfing, we gardened, puttered around the yard, and just enjoyed the luxury of free time. We have taken time to get out and practice photography and I’ve even had time to play around post-processing my photos with Lightroom and Perfect Layers. It’s been glorious.

And so, my post is brief today. I’ll leave you with a few photos from the past week and hope you’re enjoying these first weeks of summer as much as we are.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

  4. Remember to ask about special discounts for packages
of multiple sessions. The spacing of procedures is recommended to give the follicles that were in their “resting” state or not actively growing
during your preceding procedure to get in their active
phase and grow hair. There are some number
of sessions generally depends on many parameters including the area of the body being treated skin color coarseness
of hair of body reason for hirsutism and gender. Your case
is taken up by a consultant, your medical history scrutinized, your goals are discussed and then the clinic works
hand-in-hand with you even after you have taken the
procedure. For this problem, laser revomal cost is not unreasonable, due to the problem covering only a
    small area.

  5. This is why it is so difficult to connect the initial effects of divorce to a person’s later stages in life.

This is when spouses’ get quiet entirely fearful to be open because their partner may not understand what their saying or it will more arguments.

For others, the curve ball may be losing
your job, facing a health challenge, or losing a loved one.

  6. If here is the case, you might have far more options available to you in finishing them.
When researching for contractors for cabinets, you can refer to magazines, local newspapers and in addition websites.
Practically everything in connection with kitchen requires a cabinet.
