“Good habits are worth being fanatical about.”
~ John Irving

One year ago today, in honour of my eighth year of blogging, I started writing a post and sharing a photo every day. My intention was to do so every day in the month of August–my blogoversary month–but it became a habit and I just kept going. (I was going to do a count of how many days I’ve not posted in the past year but don’t have time this morning. It hasn’t been many, that I know.) Proof positive that doing something regularly for thirty days can make it a habit.

Food for thought, yes?

Anyway, no time to write much today as we are off on an adventure with our granddaughter this morning. More later.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

  1. A good habit, Linda. I admire your steadfastness here. Not for me right now though, trying to publish a memoir, honor my relatives (heavy with demands this past year). Maybe someday . . .

As I said, I admire your faithfulness here posting worthy pieces. Even if I don’t comment, I usually read.

    1. I appreciate your comments when you have time, Marian. Life goes in stages and I know yours has been a busy one of late. Hope you’re enjoying to the fullest your getaway in our beautiful country.
