“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.”

~ Edith Sitwell

And, if you’re in Canada, it’s also time for Tims and Hudson’s Bay mittens.

Last week I was photographing flowers in my yard, this week I don’t want to go outside because it’s too cold. But go outside we will; in fact we’re heading north today, where it’s even colder.

After we stop for Tims.

And put on our mittens and toques.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I'm here early most mornings with one of my photos and a few words about life and those thin places where faith intersects.
