“To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.”

~ Mary Oliver

The chives are budding in the potager garden in my back yard. Of course, I had to get down on the ground, on the wet grass, to capture a few images. What’s a little dampness when one is taking time to observe and appreciate the gifts of the garden?

I picked up a canvas I had printed to hang in our den from the print lab yesterday. We call it “Glass Tulip” because it reminds us of some of the beautiful pieces at the Museum of Glass in Seattle.

I’m a writer, reader, and creative. I thought by now I’d have things figured out, but I keep coming up with more questions. I think that’s okay. I’m here most mornings pondering ordinary things and the thin places where faith intersects.

    1. LOL! I love you, Ruth. I wish we lived closer. ?

  2. Another beautiful image Linda. I am so glad you are posting signs of spring. We are finally hitting double digits this week. Today’s plan is to head out this afternoon as soon as I can. The rich soil in my hands is like therapy. I can’t wait.

    1. You guys have had a rough spring, Celine. Enjoy your time getting your hands dirty today!
