When I am constantly running there is no time for being. When there is no time for being there is no time for listening.
~ Madeleine L’Engle, Walking on Water
Are you sensing a ramping up of busyness already? It’s not even the beginning of December and I’m feeling it. I don’t like it.
The temptation to give in and get busy can be a strong one. We choose whether to play along or not.
What if we focus on intentional stillness for the remainder of the year instead? What if we pay attention to simple happy moments that cost no money but that have great worth? What if we open our arms, not so much to receive, as to embrace?
What if we go deep into Love and arrive at the end of the year changed, instead of worn out?

Simple happy.
Childlike wonder.

That video is so stinking cute!! This made my day.
Isn’t it great, Karen!
Oh that video with the child going through the Christmas isle is precious. I wish it was like that to us every year. It did my heart good to see that.
Isn’t it wonderful! The pure joy is so sweet!
