Sounds like a near-perfect day to me.
Yesterday, as I worked at the community garden, I chatted with the woman who has the plot next to me. We talked about soap-making, calendula flowers, photography, and other simple things; just a few words as we worked companionably in our respective gardens. When she was ready to leave she handed me a beautiful bunch of cosmos she had just picked. Her gesture made my day.
