Harvesting Organs

No, not those kinds of organs. Not fully intact organs either.

Gerry was in Regina all day yesterday, and is heading back again today, with a few folks from our church to salvage pieces of a pipe organ which is the same type as the one at St. Aidan, the church we attend here in Moose Jaw.

That means I’ve got more than a handful of solitude here at home. Win-win!

Yesterday, in between laundry and giving Molly a bath, I got lost in reading and researching something that’s captured my attention these days. Today, more of the same seasoned with a bit more quiet contemplation and, perhaps, some writing.

Sounds like a practically perfect way to spend a couple of quiet days to me.

  1. What a perfect title. So funny!

Quiet contemplation and writing – sounds so lovely! Enjoy!

    1. I did! Hope you’re having a pleasant Saturday too.

  2. Reading, writing, and contemplation sounds wonderful! Bathing the dog? Not so much. My Sheltie has such a thick, double coat that I pawn him off on the groomer when he gets gamey!

    1. We love our groomer too!
